The Paul Wylie Fanlisting is now active. Feel free to join! :)

Check out Paul's new online company, HighGear Travel, where you can book a trip to go ski the Rockies with Paul and Phil Mahre (and go to Paul's favorite restaurant in Vail!), or participate in the 2004 Tour de France. Sounds cool! :D

Did you see Paul on the Today Show? He skated "Hero" at Rockefeller Center and showed off some extremely cute photos of baby Hannah. He also plugged the above-linked website. :)

Paul will be on the Today Show tomorrow morning discussing his upcoming guest appearances with Stars on Ice and also skating a little. Check your local listings. (From the SOI News site)

There are some ebay auctions up right now featuring nice photos of Paul, taken by Tracy Marks and other photographers.
December 29, 2003
I've added a bunch of products to the merchandise page - a couple of books I forgot the first time around, and a new section on the lower half of the page of Paul's favorite music, movies, etc (based on his official Stars on Ice answers).
December 18, 2003
"The Best of Stars on Ice," hosted by Scott Hamilton and Rosalynn Sumners, will air on Sunday, January 4 from 4:30-6pm EST on NBC. "This television special will take a look back at the history of the Stars on Ice tour as well preview the 2004 tour." (From the Official SOI Page)

Additionally, SOI has put up a bio page for Paul that lists all of his upcoming guest appearances with the tour.

Happy 8th day of Christmas! That's "Maids-a-milking," right? Just wanted to put up a note about the redesign, which is almost complete (there's a few pages I haven't converted over yet). There's 2 new sections - stuff to buy and desktop backgrounds - and many stylistic changes. Hope you like it!
December 12, 2003
Desktop background of Paul here. More will follow. If you have one you'd like to contribute, let me know! :)
December 10, 2003
Paul's daughter Hannah was born Thursday, December 9 at 11:56am. She weighed in at 8 lbs. 13 oz. Huge congrats to Paul and Kate, the new parents!! (from the SOI website) In honor, I put up a banner on the splash page.

Recent photos of Paul can be seen in the SOI Behind the scenes gallery as well, including a great pic of Paul and a pregnant Kate!

It's a little late, but there's a mention & photo of Paul in this article at the usfsa site: Wylie, Lang and Tchernyshev Help Open Atlanta Ice Rink...

December 7, 2003
I recently contacted J. Barry Mittan, and he graciously allowed me to post all of his pictures of Paul, which have been added to the photo section. There are some photos I'd never seen there (from some of Paul's final competitions in 1997-98), as well as some I had - but I'd never seen them full-size, which is how I have them posted here. Thank you to Mr. Mittan for allowing me to display his fine photographs.

more pictures from Holiday Ice Dreams here (and a review here which mentions Paul wiping out ^^;)...

Take a Paul quiz here... (I got 100%! :D)

December 6, 2003
Pictures of Paul skating in "Holiday Ice Dreams" can be seen here.

(I'm thankful I have a job that allows me to update the site while I'm on break! And even when I'm not on break, eh heh...)

December 5, 2003
The information page has been vastly redesigned. (It was looong due for an overhaul in my opinion...) Competition and program information has been added as well.

New photos of Paul skating to "Hero" at Kristi's special have been added to the Various Photos page, and new scans of mine have been added to the scans page.

The "survey of the update" will actually send your results the way it is supposed to now... -_- though the questions are the same ones Dawn had posted when she last updated it... if I get any answers, though, I'll post them.

December 2, 2003
I've designed a layout for the up-and-coming Paul Wylie fanlisting, which you can view here. It's not operational yet (and none of the pages are active except for "about" and "codes"), but will be as soon as it is officially approved. I'll keep you updated.
December 1, 2003
I found some old sound files of Paul speaking that were never put up on the site and stuck them up for your listening pleasure in the sounds section - 4 new ones in all. There's also a 21-MB (!!) sound clip of Paul's National Press Club speech available for download.
November 30, 2003
Nice article on Paul here, in which he talks about his desire to return to skating - and which also mentions the name he and Kate are planning to name their daughter, due Dec. 10.

Did you catch Paul in Kristi's show this afternoon? If you missed him, he will also appear in Holiday Ice Dreams, airing Thursday, Dec. 4 on A&E, from 9-11pm EST.

I'm in the process of putting together a Paul Wylie fanlisting - I'll post information here when it becomes available.

November 24, 2003
"Kristi Yamaguchi's Salute to American Music" will show November 30 on NBC from 4-6pm EST. (That's 1-3pm for you West Coasters, such as myself :D)

View Paul's Mickey Mouse statue here.

November 15, 2003
Theatre Girl: Wow, it's been a while, eh? Moved the site off Geocities (finally!) at the news that PAUL IS RETURNING TO SKATING and will be in a few TELEVISED events this winter. Additionally, his wife, Kate, is due to give birth to their first child next month, a girl. Big congrats to Paul!! :)

Upcoming news: Paul will be skating with Stars on Ice this winter as a "special guest" in selected cities. Visit the SOI page to find out if he'll be in YOUR city (it looks like he'll primarily be on the East Coast, unfortunately for me).

He skated in Kristi Yamaguchi's show on November 4, which I think may be broadcast on NBC on Nov. 30. Not exactly sure on that though.

He skated a new program, "Hero" by Enrique Iglecias (sp.?), in this year's Evening With Champions.

He appeared in "Tara Lipinski's Night of Skating Champions" on Oct. 17, which is supposed to be televised, though I'm not sure when.

He'll also be appearing in the upcoming A&E "Holiday Ice Dreams" taking place Nov. 19, to be televised later.

He hosted a skating seminar in October 2003 as well.

Lots of Paul-news out there! :) I will soon be rennovating the website as well, to update its look and update the information.

New tape trading information is posted here.

The links page has been updated with a few fixed URLs and some new pages i found whilst surfing 'round the Net.

Eventually, I am going to try to re-start-up the now-defunct Brigade, but in more of a Fanlisting kind of way, with little "clique" buttons (or whatever it is the kids call them these days ^_^) for your webpage and the whole shebang.

I may also try to re-start the PW Webring as well, which languished into obscurity when Webring itself changed all around. A lot of the sites on the webring don't exist anymore, though, so that may be a fruitless venture.

Thanks to Frozen Motion for much of the new Paul performance info listed above
