Well, we fly home tomorrow haha.. didn't really get a chance to update much as we had hoped due to our extreme busyness, but our ministry was really good and fruitful and we'll update you all when we get home! :) there are some photos posted on the photos page from a week or so ago, so feel free to enjoy those. : ) the last few days have been amazing and it was so hard and sad to leave Kaminoyama this morning. But.. we'll see everyone back home soon... thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers!

We're in Japan!

posted by: court
Howdy everyone! We've arrived safely and are now 16 hours in the future. Note that I've changed the timestamp on these entries to Japanese time (which changed ALL the entries to Japanese time... oh well!) we've enjoyed a few days of training here in Narita and will be boarding a shinkansen (bullet train) to Kaminoyama in just a few hours... yay! TRaining has been great; please pray that we can keep our resolve and be "water poured out" for our church here. Thanks for all your support!

It has been odd, but better than I expected being here at this hotel. So I thank you all for your prayers, they are definitly helping!

More later, from Kaminoyama!

Around 2am tonight we'll be driving to the Seattle airport. Our flight's at 7am tomorrow to California. We'll have a day of training and then take our 11-hour plane ride to Japan the next day.... (at which point we will be in the future, 17 hours ahead!)

Please pray for safe travel, and a spirit of servitude, and self-sacrifice, and boldness. Thanks and blessings to everyone who helped get us here.... arigato gozaimashita!

6 days!!

...and all of our money is raised. More than all of our money, actually. Thanks to several anonymous donors, we're well above where we need to be.... praise God!!!

Still a few more supplies to buy... but we're on our way!

We will be going back to the same hotel in Narita for our first few days of training. Please pray that I will be able to handle being in the same place where I met & got to know Brian last year. In reality, it's the only place I've really seen him in person, aside from the airport.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who is supporting us!! :)
