12:24am (Sunday... eep)
Today: Got up around 9am and started making a hemp bracelet to practice for the craft classes later in the day. There was some drama with the power to the fridge going out. Ito-sensei picked us up around 11:45 for lunch @ the Aoki's, after which we "taught" craft class (a lot of kids showed up which was cool) - made all kinds of crazy things (we brought materials to make puppets and paint and mod podge and etc and the kids were pretty inventive) and had a great time. I got to talk to Ito-sensei for awhile about Jesus and faith and life/meaning/etc... read our theme verses and etc.
Afterwards we had a team meeting where Jeri expressed she felt a bit unappreciated and we talked about that and prayed.
Ito-sensei picked us up around 5:45 and drove us to the church to meet up for Karaoke with Noriko and Yuka. We noticed the men's bathroom door at the karaoke place read "MAN'S" which cracked us all up.
We sang a lot of songs again including:
-You're so Vain, Yellow, Lovefool - me and Laurel
-monkees theme, When I'm 64, Live and let Die - all
-YATTA! - all and Yuka, complete with dancing :)
-Take me home country roads - me and Laurel
-Some jazz song - Moe
I think after "Yellow" or "Country Roads" Noriko told me and Laurel we had nice voices, heh (considering we are probably the weakest singers on the team!) Laurel thought those two songs were pretty fun to perform :)
Laurel and Moe danced all over the room during one of Jeri's songs which prompted Noriko to call them "crazy Americans" ;D
Went home and cleaned up a bit, made food, listened to music (the Bills and Marc Atkinson), chatted a bit.. and now it's late.
