Tuesday, November 16, 2004 11/16/2004 11:04:02 AM | linky ugh. About midway thru Nano and I'm about 6000 words behind my word count goals. Currently at 19,000-something; the goal for today is 26000. Bah. I will catch up! I will! Went to The City (tm) with Laurel and Jeri yesterday; it was good times. We went to Ross & TJ Maxx (2 stores I have never in my life been to before) - Ross looked like a giant Goodwill inside, just racks and racks of clothes, and TJ Maxx was a little more organized but still kind of the same idea. But they had a lot of nifty clothes for cheap and I ended up buying 2 skirts (!! I am not a skirt-wearer), coo dress shoes, a fleecy coat-ish thing, and a warm pink (!!) cord coat lined with fuzzy furry stuff. Then we went to AE, my big weakness, and I bought pants, and more fleece. I restrained myself from buying one of everything in the store. Then we went to the Olive Garden for dinner (yaaay! I haven't been there in a long long time!) and to a big CD store where I bought a $6.99 copy of TMBG's John Henry to replace my beat-up one from circa 1994, Paul McCartney's 1st solo album, and the "Music from another room" DVD... the movie that got me hooked on Jude Law. :D So in all I spent too much money and will be paying back the banks for awhile...:P But it was fun :> ................................ Monday, November 01, 2004 First day of Nanowrimo and I ripped off a little more than 2500 words pretty easily. I know this is nothing more than early luck and I shall soon disinigrate into a puddle of crap. Track progress here... ................................ (0) comments?
